4 Weeks

Kaden turned the big 4 WEEKS today!! He has learned so much already!! Here are some of the things he has learned in the short weeks of life:


He has learned the yawn and stretch move to use on the ladies in the future
He has learned how to strike a pose
He has learned just how funny daddy is
"OK Daddy...Stop it, you are just TOOOO funny!"
And finally, he has learned how to tell us to stop taking pictures!!

Bumbo!

Aunt Dar got Kaden this bumbo seat, and he LOVES IT!! Thanks Aunt Darlene!!

5 Generations

We went to my great grandma's house, Kaden's great-great-grandma's house in Wheatland on Saturday. Granny Williams just fell in love with him! Even Ozzy the dog wanted to get a little love and cuddle time in with Kaden. We all got together to take a 5 generation picture with, Me, my mom, my grandma, great-grandma, and Kaden. At the end of the day, Kaden was pooped out and slept all the way home.

I love Teddy

My grandma Jackie gave Kaden this bear before he was born. When you turn it on it has a recording of a heartbeat to soothe baby. When it's on, Kaden just stares at it, and sometimes will coo and talk to him...I think this is Kaden's first friend!!

3 Weeks

Kaden turned 3 weeks old yesterday. So far he has learned how to hold his head up for a good amount of time, roll over from his tummy to his back, and he is starting to smile when you talk to him. Still sleeping through the night, and is now up to 3 1/2 oz every 3-4 hours.

Look mom, I can hold my head up!!

Kaden is already holding his head up by himself!! We are so amazed and proud. He even rolled over from his belly to his back twice the other day!!

What's this?

We have finally introduced our dogs to Kaden. Halle is very protective of him, she is the all black one. Jackson, who is our border collie, is very gentle when he sees Kaden. And, Carter, well, I don't think Carter gets it yet!! He is still a bit rowdy around him...

We got all dressed up for Cody and Stephanie's wedding, so we decided to share our prettiness. ;)

2 Weeks Old

Kaden is 2 weeks old today!! I can't believe how fast these couple of weeks have gone by. So far we have discovered how much Kaden likes to lie on his changing table, how many wipes we go through in a week, and to change his diaper BEFORE he eats (this one took many times of getting peed on before we realized what to do).

He is still a pretty good baby. He has a bit of a temper at times and growls at us when he is mad about something...I think he gets that from daddy! ;) He is still sleeping through the night, which we are very thankful for.

Swing, Swing

We got Kaden this swing the other day because he LOVES to sit up and watch things rather than lie down all the time. He wasn't sure about it at first, but now I think he likes it...he fell asleep in it last night.

He has Dimples!!

Right before Kaden falls asleep he always lays there and smiles. I finally caught a smile on my camera and noticed he has dimples!! I love it!

Sponge Bath Time

Kaden can only receive sponge baths until his cord falls off. So here are some pics of one of his baths. He surprisingly likes it. He just lays there and watches me wash him. He's such a good baby!! :)

More Visitors!!

Kaden's Great-Grandma Mary, Great Aunt Karin, and cousin Sierra came down from Wheatland to see Kaden for the first time on Wednesday. Sierra stayed with us until today (Friday) to help out with the little things that needed to be done!! Thanks Sierra, we appreciated it, and Kaden misses you already!! :)



Cousin Ian also came to visit Kaden on Wednesday. He brought Lasagna along with Dee Dee, and Dan Dad!!

Kaden is 1 week old!!

Kaden has survived 1 whole week with mom and dad!! He had a Doctor's appointment on Tuesday, and is back up to his birth weight and is completely healthy!! He even is able to sleep through the night!! We both couldn't be any happier with him...he is truly the best thing in our lives!

We're Home!!

Well, we finally made it home in one piece!! After 22 hrs of labor and 4 sets of pushes we have our little bundle of joy with us!! We couldn't have asked for a better baby. His first night home he would have slept through the night if we hadn't had to wake him for his feeding. The only time he cries is when it is a legitimate reason to cry, and he is so alert it is amazing!! We both truly feel very blessed to have him in our lives. Our house feels so different to us, and we can't even imagine what it felt like before he was here. Here are some pics of his first days home!!
